The purpose of Blake Road Baptist Church is to obey the Great Commandment and fulfill the Great
Commission. We accomplish this purpose by engaging in God's five purposes for our individual lives and our corporate identity as the living Body of Jesus Christ. We define these purposes as:
Worship - Valuing God and honoring Him above everyone and everything.
Fellowship - Being united in spirit, loving one another, and being intent on one purpose.
Discipleship - Equipping people to grow by teaching them to obey all Christ's commands.
Ministry - Strengthening the Body of Christ by serving one another's needs.
Evangelism - Reaching the lost by sharing Christ's love.
